OnePlus has announced the launch of the latest model of the OnePlus smartphone on December 4, the new OnePlus 12 will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and with the new Sony LYT-808 sensor. The OnePlus 12 comes with the DisplayMate's A+ Rating for this device. Company will launch this smartphone in China in the first week of December.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus announced the launch of the OnePlus 12 smartphone on Weibo. According to the report, the company is going to announce the OnePlus 12 during the tenth-anniversary celebrations of the brand.
The company has already confirmed to use Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in the OnePlus 12 devices. The OnePlus 12 is also confirmed to use BOE X1 OLED LTPO display that will come with the 2K resolution. This smartphone will come with the ColorOS 14 operating system which is based on the Android operating system.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 12 includes a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. This will give great power to the camera of this phone. The OnePlus 12 also includes Sony LYTIA LYT808 primary rear camera sensor.
The OnPlus 12 will be powered with the ColorOS 14 operating system which is based on the very popular Android 14 operating system. This smartphone will be first launched in China. This smartphone will come with the 2K resolution display screen for which company to obtain DisplayMate's A+ certification. The screen used in the smartphone is The ProXDR display is rated, which delivers a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The OnePlus 12 comes with a powerful screen which can be used in bright light also.
According to the various leaks, the OnePlus 12 might come with a 6.82-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) display, which might come with the curved low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO). The OnePlus 12 might come with a triple rear camera setup. OnePlus 12 might come with the 50-megapixel primary sensor.
The front camera is expected to come with the 32-megapixel selfie sensor, which is very powerful for recording video and video conference. If you are using a camera for video conferencing and video communications then this phone seems good for you.

It is noted that the company launched the OnePlus 11 5G in January this year in China at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 48,000). The OnePlus 11 5 is a powerful smartphone with a base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Later in February, the made in India OnePlus 11 5G was launched at a starting price tag of Rs. 56,999.
There is no official word about the pricing of OnePlus 12. Company might provide the pricing details at the time of launch in December 2023.
